Year 7 have been studying about Medieval Religion in 12th Century England as part of their History curriculum.

Boys learnt about the murder of Thomas Becket who was the Archbishop of Canterbury, in 1170. Students were asked to write a spoof or parody of Thomas Becket for homework to allow for creativity and fun.

The short story that follows shows how students can explore their creative side in a Horrible Histories way. The young man did an excellent spoof. The words underlined are from the study of Thomas Becket which boys had to include in the story. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did.
