Norlington U18 produced a strong all-round performance to secure a well-earned victory over Sir George Monoux College in an exciting indoor cricket fixture.
Batting first, Norlington set the tone early by building a competitive total through smart shot selection and consistent scoring across the overs. The innings was built on positive intent, with batters rotating the strike effectively while Murad capitalised on loose deliveries to find boundaries. By maintaining momentum throughout the innings, Norlington posted a strong total of 95, setting Sir George Monoux College a challenging target of 96 to win.
With the ball, Norlington showed excellent discipline and control, Shayan used his slower ball variations effectively. Despite a late push from the opposition, Sir George Monoux College finished on 84, giving Norlington a deserved 11-run victory.
